When we reached the front we found that somehow our 7.30 dinner reservation had been moved to 6pm - seriously curtailing the time we had planned to spend in the pool/ relaxing before dinner. We arrived to find a 45 minute wait to check in whilst we queued alongside lots of finely dressed wedding guests (it was a Monday afternoon). We thought the waterfront location with sea air would do us good. We booked a one night stay during half term to help our eldest get a break from exam revision and to chill out together. We attended a family wedding at 1:15 on a Saturday We prebooked a room via the wedding party discount offered approximately 6 months prior to the date Calling a month early to request a early check-in which was offered at 12:00… asking if we could have the room earlier than that which we were happy to pay for the front of house were rude and in no way helpful On arrival at the hotel my wife who has a heart condition booked in, given our room key and requested the lift directions Reception weren’t helpful, no lifts, she then had to ask for help A lady helped her carry the cases to the first floor after which my wife had to take the cases around to room 154 furthest point in the hotel Wedding went nicely before we left to have the reception elsewhere Our room was exceptionally clean but worn around the edges as is the whole hotel in the public areas, the bedroom was far too hot, no air con or ability to open the windows more than an inch or two Breakfast was pleasant, busy and well organised… Hotels near Hayling Island Community Centre.Hotels near The Hayling Billy Public House.Hotels near Hayling Island Donkey Sanctuary.Hotels with Balconies in Hayling Island.Hotels with Complimentary Breakfast in Hayling Island. All Inclusive Resorts in Hayling Island.
